"Outsourcing is just a new way of
doing international trade..." "...which makes it a good thing."Interviewer:
Please Mr. Mankiw, have a seat.
Dr. Mankiw:
Thank you… and that’s DR. MANKIW, if you please.

Princeton University and MIT. As a teacher, I taught macroeconomics,
microeconomics, statistics, and principles of economies. My research includes
work on price adjustment, consumer behavior, financial markets, monetary and

in academic journals, such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Political
Economy, and Quarterly Journal of Economics, and in more widely accessible
forums, such as The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Wall Street
Journal, and Fortune.
Interviewer:
Please, go on.
Dr.
Mankiw: Additionally,
I have written two popular textbooks - the intermediate-level textbook
"Macroeconomics" from Worth Publishers and the introductory textbook
"Principles of Economics" from South- Western/Thomson. Together, these
two books have sold about a million copies and have been translated into
seventeen languages. In addition to teaching, research, and writing, I am a
research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, an adviser to
the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Congressional Budget Office, and a
member of the ETS test development committee for the advanced placement exam in
economics.

All very impressive, I must say.
What real business experience do you have. What businesses have you run?

actually.
